Prevent or reduce children’s exposure to environmental hazards. Children are our most precious resource. Many children spend much of their early years in childcare facilities. While these facilities play an important role in their physical and mental development, they may also inadvertently be exposing children to a variety of potentially harmful chemicals or pollutants.
The Green Childcare Seminar Series is designed to provide the background information necessary to identify and interpret environmental hazards that can affect children. Acquire practical strategies and tools to reduce or eliminate environmental exposure in childcare settings. Get a checklist for creating healthier, greener childcare settings.
The series is designed for those who provide environments for young children, such as early childcare providers, day home providers, parents and grandparents, K-6 teachers and assistants, and health care workers.
